Welcome to the Gibson Doxey Chronicles where no pioneer story is too long or three Nephite story too tall! However, politics are not welcomed here as we want this blog to have as much love and unity as a Hinkley family reunion. Let's make sure everyone who visits feels as comfortable as Dave sneaking an after-dinner pick on Grammy's couch. So sit back and enjoy all the family news.

Update and photos

We had our first doctor's appointment yesterday and it went very well. I love my doctor (which is a huge relief) and the baby gave us a wave in the ultrasound. I am in my 12th week and my due date is Jan 13th. We still can't believe it!!!

Leah at the Bronx Zoo on a hot and very humid day- she gets crazy hair when she's sticky...and she gets a little wacky too! This was my favorite thing at the zoo, everyone was taunting this gorilla so to ham-it-up, he decided to show us how to really kick back. Leah loved the gorillas.
I can't figure out how to upload this right side up...sorry. I like this picture because it shows Leah's recently developed relationship with Doug. When he gets home from school she gets so excited and throws a fit if he doesn't pick her up immediately. Apparently on this day she needed the love of her father in order to fall asleep, it was shortly after he got home.
Leah rarely spends time on her hands and knees, she's always holding on to something but she hasn't found the guts to let herself down so she throws an "I'm stuck" fit until we help her down, then she's off to the next location.
