Welcome to the Gibson Doxey Chronicles where no pioneer story is too long or three Nephite story too tall! However, politics are not welcomed here as we want this blog to have as much love and unity as a Hinkley family reunion. Let's make sure everyone who visits feels as comfortable as Dave sneaking an after-dinner pick on Grammy's couch. So sit back and enjoy all the family news.

Mike's got big biking plans

Hey Everyone from the Mike Gibson family!
Sorry we haven't posted in a while. My computer died and along with that I lost all of my addresses, etc. Anyway, we are back.

As an update, Mike is doing well. So far all seems clear of cancer. His hair has thickened, as has his midsection. But he is beginning to feel well enought to exercise. So, we're sure he'll be lean an mean soon enough.

Mike was wanting to do a century tour bike ride in Moab on October 5-7. It is a ride connected with the Livestrong Foundation (Lance Armstrong's cancer foundation). We would love it if anyone would like to ride with us. I am opting for the 42 mile "cruise," but all of you spinners may want to tackle the "Big Nasty" on the 65 or 92 mile ride. Or, we'd love to have you come just to have a nice vacation. Here is the website if you are at all interested: http://www.skinnytirefestival.com/century/century.html Also, Dorothy has done this ride before so she can give us more details.

Life is going well for us and we hope all of you are doing well. I'll post some pictures and other stuff later. Thanks
