Welcome to the Gibson Doxey Chronicles where no pioneer story is too long or three Nephite story too tall! However, politics are not welcomed here as we want this blog to have as much love and unity as a Hinkley family reunion. Let's make sure everyone who visits feels as comfortable as Dave sneaking an after-dinner pick on Grammy's couch. So sit back and enjoy all the family news.

IF THE SHOE FITS, WEAR IT!

First, I'd like to thank Em for giving us a fresh reason to blog. Then, I'd like to thank Larissa Wilson and the good staff at Hiawatha High and Colleen Gild at Paxton High for their assistance and innovative ideas. This is quite an undertaking. Here's how Dan, Julia & kin stack up:

Dan=Bad Poetry Day (Well, enough said).

Julia=Cukoo Warning Day. BTW, I believe this is the only one where further clarification is provided..."it will be a wet summer if the sound of the cukoo is heard today." (I can roll with that, works for me).

Nathan=Pistol Patent Day--Samuel Colt. (The boy does like guns I guess).

John= National Columnists Day. (Hopefully its in the genes).

Liza=I am in Control Day. (They've got that right!)
