Welcome to the Gibson Doxey Chronicles where no pioneer story is too long or three Nephite story too tall! However, politics are not welcomed here as we want this blog to have as much love and unity as a Hinkley family reunion. Let's make sure everyone who visits feels as comfortable as Dave sneaking an after-dinner pick on Grammy's couch. So sit back and enjoy all the family news.

Some of the best things in life are free! (Viva el mullet)

On the 4th Amber and I went and had a windy picnic at Flushing Meadows park (home of the Mets, the U.S. Open...and some rockin' futbol jugadores) It was a treat.

Rock'n Roll

As you can see Spence is a four-wheeler dreamer! Of course he cheated death by merely sitting on the bad boy. Sammy also loved it, however Spence hogged the power.

Heidi took took the boys to the beach with her sister Stephanie. As you can tell, it was a total vaction. Anyone for the beach for five days with five kids!

Oh feel free to comment. I believe someone changed he defaults so we can "comment" on each other's postings.

So sewing is harder than most might think!!!

Just wanted to share with everyone what was going on all day on Saturday...and I mean all day. The Doxey girls and Miss Cosi Young were sewing pajama bottoms. The girls gained a new appreciation for unstiching something...tedious work!! The pajama bottoms turned out so cute!! The girls even made bean bags with their extra material and were gracious enough to make Sam and Spencer some. They weren't your ordinary bean bags by the way- they made a star shaped one, a football, and Ellie even got a snake. In closing, we wanted the girls to know that the first thing Spencer asked for when he came out of his room this morning was for his football and star!!!
