Welcome to the Gibson Doxey Chronicles where no pioneer story is too long or three Nephite story too tall! However, politics are not welcomed here as we want this blog to have as much love and unity as a Hinkley family reunion. Let's make sure everyone who visits feels as comfortable as Dave sneaking an after-dinner pick on Grammy's couch. So sit back and enjoy all the family news.

Leah Karen Doxey

So we decided to name our daughter Leah, about an hour before we came home. We were thinking Sage but it just didn't fit. She has congenital hip displagia- meaning that her hip socket hasn't developed correctly but it should be easy to fix. She will be in this harness for at least the first 3 months, we're waiting to see a specialist but so far it doesn't seem to be a huge concern. Doug and my Dad safely arrived in New York this morning and about 30 min later a group of ward members were there to help move our stuff in. I'm anxious to get home, even though I have no idea where that is, but to be with Doug and establish our home. I hope my first blog posting finds all of you well. We look forward to Christmas! I can't believe we'll be so far away that the big holidays are when we'll see each other again. Anyway lots of love from Leah and I.
