After two hours of pushing Amber gave birth to a our baby girl 6 lbs 10 oz. and 19" long. she has carmel hair and already has her first mohawk. Amber and the baby should come home tomorrow.

OK, so Doug just informed me of this blog. And, since he is soon to move to the opposite side of this great country, I worry that we might get lost in cyberspace. So, here is our current email: migibson@comcast.net
We enjoyed all the swell pics and info. We're glad to hear about the new Doxey girl.
Mike is doing well. He just finished his second chemo treament today. He is a little nauseated and tired, but seems well otherwise. We sure appreciate all of your prayers, thoughts, cards, help, babysitting, and overall good feelings. He has lost 34 pounds and continues to slim down. Soon, he will be able to wear Bry's hand-me-downs.
Love,
Mike & Becky

Little Sam has finally been blessed!!!

Last Sunday we were able to bless Sam. Grammie and Emily came all the way from Utah to be there which we truly appreciated. Uncle Dave and Aunt Leslie and kids were in attendance as well as Heidi's family. We are so lucky to have two cute boys and a loving family who supports us. Thanks for everything. Enjoy the picture!!

Baby no likey come longtime!!

Well, Amber isn't "ripe" yet so the Dr. decided that we'll have to wait on the 23rd inducement date. Frankly that stinks. I'm supposed to be in NYC on the 31st for orientation, yet I pick up the moving truck on the 29th and the Dr. said worst case scenario he'll induce on the 30th. See the problem? I sure do. Bummer eh? Oh well.
Anyway, Amber and I just celebrated our 1st anniversary on Thursday, the 17th, way radical. Time flies ya know. Giant belly pics coming soon.

Biological Explosion
Sup' Yo--Amber and I are waiting the first addition to our little fam and its coming soon--she's about to blow. This morning I literally felt an elbow and a foot! It looks like the baby will be hear, at the latest, on the 23rd of Aug. The Dr. said he'll induce on that day if the baby hasn't come yet--cool eh? Also, I'm driving the ole' budget truck on the cannonball cross-country express on the 30th. School starts on the 5th. We've got a place in Queens which is about 25-30 mins from the school via a 10 min walk and a 15 min bus ride. We'll actually be able to see the East river from our window (which is in between Manhattan and Queens) and there is a nice park to run in etc. just a couple of blocks away. You can check out the address on google earth or maps to see it. It's:

Mind Bending
I saw it coming a mile away. Just more evidence of the mind-bending liberal culture in San Francisco.

A little affirmation for Dave and Leslie
Seems like you are doing fine so far...
If everyone would make a habit of signing each posting with their name and e-mail address it makes it easier for a quick e-mail response. Go up to the link button (a chain on the world) on top to the right of the text color button and choose the mail to in the pull down bar to insert a hyperlink to a mail address. (I'm happy to post this stuff for you if you want me to.)
Amber's family uses myfamily.com for their web site and she says it seems easier and has more features. If everyone thinks this is a better way to go, I am good with it. This site was free and an experiment for me to learn about blogging. But I am happy to use any site just to keep connected.
Peace out,
Rob

Let us in!
Hello everyone from SCORCHING Las Vegas! We are blogger inept. We need more information about this "blogging" thing. If a "blog" is anything like what it sounds like-- we want nothing to do with it! You're SICK Rob!!

Dave and Les
